About us

We are Malcolm and Christine Stephenson,living in South Cumbria in the beautiful English Lake District and we are easily accessible from the M6 motorway network. We have been breeding and showing the lovely British Shorthair cat for over 25 years. Our "Malsome" prefix is registered with the GCCF, TICA and FIFE. We were founder members ,along with two other breeders of the cinnamon and fawn colours,in the UK. We specialise in cinnamon and fawn both in self and colourpointed,also being founder members of the Colourpointed Cat Club. We also breed blues, chocolates and lilacs.
